The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 based on the national average for Medical Laboratory Specialists in Pennsylvania.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for performing various analyses from multiple specimen sources, maintaining an expected level of productivity, managing multiple work processes efficiently, and completing tasks in a timely manner. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to navigate and access multiple computer applications as needed for job functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university with a major in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science AND ASCP categorical certification OR; a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university with a major in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science AND at least two years' experience in a role equivalent to that of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in a clinical laboratory.
