Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProgressiveHealth. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic and holistic care to our patients in a busy multi-setting hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency in individuals with communication disorders.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to patients with language development needs.
  • Administer and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests to assess patient needs.
  • Evaluate and monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • State licensure, certification, and registration in good standing, or ability to obtain.
  • CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start of employment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout assigned shifts.
  • High level of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications.
