Job Summary

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Therapist II to support the offices in White Oak and Monroeville. This role provides independent clinical treatment services to targeted populations in an outpatient treatment program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily records of clinical productivity and provide individual and group therapy to patients in various settings.
  • Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss clinical cases and review patient treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments of new patients and implement evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Create treatment plans that include a continuum of therapeutic services for patients with varying needs.
  • Document all assessments, treatment sessions, and other work done on behalf of patients according to guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field.
  • Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • Act 33 with renewal, Act 34 with renewal, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
