We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Management Business Solutions. As an Athletic Trainer - Sports Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to student athletes and physically active individuals, with a focus on injury prevention, evaluation, and management.
Key Responsibilities- Injury Prevention and Management: Develop and implement effective training and conditioning programs for student athletes, and provide initial assessment and care for emergent, acute, and chronic sports-related injuries and illnesses.
- Communication and Documentation: Communicate effectively with coaches, athletic directors, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders regarding injuries, illnesses, and treatment plans, and maintain accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records.
- Return-to-Play Guidance: Provide guidance to athletes, coaches, and parents/guardians on return-to-play protocols, and work closely with medical directors and physicians to ensure safe and timely return to play.
- Continuing Education and Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Education and Certification: Graduate of a CAATE-accredited bachelor's or master's degree program, and BOC-certified in good standing.
- Experience: Education/experience in working with adolescent athletic populations preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
