Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Lead to join our team at the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House Gift Shop. As a Sales Lead, you will play a key role in creating a fun and engaging shopping experience for our guests. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting the store management team, and ensuring that our guests have the best shopping experience possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional guest service and support the store management team in day-to-day operations
• Ensure that our guests have the best shopping experience ever
• Engage with guests and create an entertaining, fun, exciting and memorable experience
• Proactively intercept, engage, and demonstrate product to customers in a positive, welcoming and outgoing manner
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and objectives
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the shopping experience
Requirements
• Prior retail keyholder, retail supervisory, cash-handling, and customer service experience
• Strong merchandising skills and ability to work with a variety of products
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, early evenings and holidays
• Naturally enjoy interacting with people of all ages
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds
