We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Resident Care LPN to join our team at Spring Hills Livingston AL. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of care to residents, ensuring their emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of care to residents, ensuring their needs are met through all program services and activities.
- Support company programs and utilize systems in the delivery of care to residents, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medication Record (eMAR).
- Conduct residents' assessments according to State regulations and company standards, completing associated Service Plans and POC task assignments within established timeframes.
- Collaborate with key team members to discuss residents/families factors causing changes in level of care.
- Oversee the Spring Cottage (memory care) Signature Touches program to ensure compliance with company policy for quality of memory care.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, discipline, and terminate nursing department associates in accordance with Spring Hills, LLC Human Resources Policies.
- Utilize company tools to manage the nursing department budget, including use of department Spend Down and review of monthly financial statements.
- Maintain inventory and requisition nursing department supplies/equipment to ensure supply is adequate and residents are being billed appropriately.
- Ensure all accidents/incidents are completed per company standards and State regulations, overseeing associate accident reporting process.
- Audit nursing department documentation to ensure company policies and practices are in place, and in use, at all times.
- Routinely meet with nursing department staff to ensure their understanding of company policies and to educate/re-educate, as needed.
- Participate in semi-annual Compliance Audits and develop plans of correction, as required.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure quality delivery of onsite specialized services, e.g., physicians, pharmacy, laboratories, etc.
- Be familiar with and understand emergency equipment and procedures, participating in annual disaster drills and monthly fire drills, coordinating annual Elopement drills.
- Ensure that all nursing department staff attend daily Stand-Up and complete all required in-service and/or online training.
- Consistently participate on conference calls, implementing new policies and/or programs, as directed.

- Always maintain residents' and associates' confidentiality.
Requirements:
- A nursing degree or diploma, two plus years related experience in management, equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) in the state of New Jersey. Must have ISP and UAI experience.
