About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer II to join our Strategic Northeast team. As a key member of our sales engineering team, you will be responsible for evaluating client networking requirements and delivering persuasive solutions to connect clients with our fiber services.

As a Sales Engineer II at Spectrum Enterprise, you will create technical and product presentations to inform clients about our modern enterprise technology solutions. You will work alongside intelligent, driven professionals to build your most successful career, support client growth, and contribute to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform needs assessments and status evaluations to identify client improvement areas.
  • Work with internal teams to develop unique service offerings for standard and nonstandard solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data services to provide proof of concepts to other teams.
  • Develop strategic responses for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to boost sales.
  • Research industry knowledge and emerging technology to improve product offerings.
Requirements
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex Metro Ethernet, VoIP, SIP, and MPLS solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Technical skills in data and voice communications, IP security strategies, VoIP/SIP, IP-VPN, DWDM, MPLS, VPLS, metro Ethernet, and LAN/WAN integration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Troubleshooting, issue resolution, presentation, and English communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct consultative analyses and provide recommendations.
  • Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco certification, such as CCDA, CCNA, or CCNP.
  • MEF-CECP or certifications from Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, or ADVA.
