Echocardiography Specialist

Position Overview: A rewarding opportunity awaits for a full-time Echocardiography Specialist, offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

The ideal candidate will be adept at evaluating and interpreting the structure and function of the heart and major blood vessels through the application of cardiac ultrasound techniques in both adult and pediatric populations. A strong technical foundation and innovative approach to utilizing ultrasound equipment to generate valuable diagnostic insights are essential. A comprehensive understanding of ultrasound physics, instrumentation, and its clinical applications is required, alongside knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and pathology related to the cardiovascular system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.

Qualifications:

• Must hold certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Alternatively, candidates may be eligible to take the RDCS or RCS examination and must achieve certification within six months of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Prior experience in sonography or ultrasound is preferred.
