We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Medical City Dallas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, family-centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care to patients in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients as needed.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions, and make necessary referrals.
- Current BLS- Healthcare Provider certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date.
- Minimum of one year of experience working in an Emergency room setting, with Pediatric experience preferred.
