About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Android Software Architect for a 12+ month contract position with our client in the financial industry located in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and prototype Android customer applications for phone and tablets.
  • Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store.
  • Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
  • Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
  • Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
  • Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI, Kotlin, and Java.
  • Extensive knowledge of XCode.
  • Development experience in Core Java and knowledge of C-based libraries.
