Job Title: Pipefitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Aerotek. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing pipes for various systems, including steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install pipes for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and production and processing systems.
• Perform hand prep piping for backing rings and butt welds.
• Use grinders or cutting machines to prepare pipes for installation.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in pipe installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of pipe materials, sizes, and installation methods.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
