Job Description

The Dental Anesthesiologist will provide specialized anesthetic care for pediatric patients during in-office surgeries, ensuring positive dental experiences. This role involves working collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists and healthcare teams to manage anesthesia for children with varying needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile anesthesiology expertise within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
  • Work collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists, optimizing patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We expect you to have:

  • An educational background in an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
  • A current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
  • Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
  • Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
