We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SMI IMAGING LLC. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Arrange patients for radiological and/or DEXA examinations, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Produce high-quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Set up and operate diagnostic equipment, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopy areas, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Director of Radiology, Regional and/or site Manager, and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth and development.
- High School Diploma and completion of a formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA-approved school.
- Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the A.R.R.T. and registration as a Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State.
- Valid "hands-on" CPR certification and 3 years of radiological imaging experience, preferably in a similar role.
