Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen - North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on automation equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues, utilizing technical skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming.
  • Utilize a computer-based inventory system to locate spare parts and generate reports.
  • Assist maintenance/production staff as needed, and may assist in the training of other employees.
  • Perform quality work within reasonable time standards, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Be flexible with schedule as needed, and ensure area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
Requirements
  • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associate degree.
  • 3 + years of technician experience within the Plastics industry.
  • Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming.
  • Strong skills in customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, and innovation.
