Job Title: Med Tech Caregiver

At Common Sail Investment Group, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Med Tech Caregiver to join our team at Leisure Living - Grand Village Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Med Tech Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Med Tech Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, administering medications, and tending to their individual care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion
  • Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments
  • Partner with residents to provide needed/requested assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the residents' service plans
  • Answer resident call lights, as well as door and safety alarms promptly
  • Observe and report resident behavior and condition changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care
  • Order/re-order medications to ensure adequate supply is available
  • Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required
  • Obtain resident weights and vitals
  • Participate in training new employees as requested
  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule
  • Clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directed
  • Assist with meal set up and clean up as needed or requested
  • Participate in or lead activities as planned by Life Enrichment. Assist and remind residents to participate in activities
  • Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
  • Remain awake and alert while on shift
Requirements
