Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist with Steward Health Care, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures, utilizing mobile radiographic equipment under aseptic techniques, while providing quality patient care. You will be accountable for courteous, accurate, and timely service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge of radiological techniques to accurately perform exams.
  • Provide quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during procedures.
  • Perform procedures in an organized and efficient manner, utilizing mobile radiographic equipment.
  • Operate equipment safely, adhering to aseptic techniques and protocols.
  • Participate in the education of Student Radiologic Technologists, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Contribute to radiology performance improvement programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Process information in the appropriate areas, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Instruct patients prior to all exams, ensuring they understand the procedure and any necessary preparations.
  • Assist Radiologists during special procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Assist with the scheduling of special procedures, coordinating with staff and patients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor supplies needed for special procedures, ensuring adequate stock and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a college or technical training program in Radiologic Technology.
  • A current license as a Radiologic Technologist from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
  • Certification in Radiologic Technology by ARRT.
  • BLS certification.
