Pediatric Speech Therapist PRN Opportunity

The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
- Conduct subjective and objective assessments of patients' speech language abilities.
- Structure and implement individualized patient programs to improve communication abilities.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient progress.
- Document progress in patients' charts and complete necessary notes and charges.
- Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding patient placement and treatment.
The Speech Therapist will:
- Work with patients to develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess patient progress and adjust programs as needed.
- Document patient progress and complete necessary notes and charges.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Experience working with patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
