Job OpportunityGateway Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing mental health support through telehealth services. As a Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for conducting psych evaluations, performing medication management, and evaluating both new and returning patients.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psych evaluations for new and returning patients to assess their mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Perform medication management in accordance with established protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate new patients to assess their mental health needs and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Chart patient information and complete services in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Write prescriptions as needed to ensure patients receive necessary medication.
  • Collaborate with the digital coordinator to coordinate staffing levels and ensure seamless telehealth services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid nursing license in Pennsylvania required. Applicants who do not have current licensing in Pennsylvania will be required to provide proof of application.
  • Certification in psychiatric nursing is preferred, but not required.
  • Additional certifications in telehealth or related fields are a plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Pass a PA Criminal Background Check.
  • Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances.
  • Pass a Drug Screen.
  • TB test if warranted.
Work Environment
  • Remote position with flexible scheduling.
