Job Summary:The LCSW/LMHC will work collaboratively with the psychiatric and allied team to provide psychosocial assessments, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support the mental health and well-being of incarcerated individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to diagnosis, illness, treatment, and situation.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating crisis interventions, brief and long-term therapies, and grief and bereavement work.
- Screen, identify, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance abuse problems in incarcerated individuals and their family members.
- Provide training to other healthcare professionals on mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide leadership and represent the clinical social work perspective.
- Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor required.
- Minimum of two years' experience preferred.
