Role Overview

The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering function, ensuring accountability and serving as a support to the Senior Engineering Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing engineering functions in alignment with station requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Guiding the performance and development of engineering personnel to meet site and corporate objectives, focusing on achieving high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Providing engineering and technical leadership for both short-term and long-term initiatives that influence site operations and reliability.
  • Engaging in Business Planning, Budgeting, and Business Performance reviews concerning assigned staff.
  • Acting as a senior resource for fleet-wide programs and initiatives aimed at standardizing and enhancing engineering systems and processes.
  • Overseeing program site engineers at designated locations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional Engineering License.
  • Approximately 8-10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Power Plant, Industrial, or Manufacturing settings.
  • Successful completion of FLS Selection Testing.
  • Experience in Power Generation.
  • Professional Engineering Registration.
  • An advanced technical degree or MBA is preferred.
