Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, preparing labels, and performing other related duties.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions.
  • Deliver medications to patients and assist with I.V. preparation and delivery.
  • Submit and receive orders from suppliers and enter data into computer files.
  • Train other employees in day-to-day procedures and participate in performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of pharmacy experience required.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required upon hire.
  • Pharmacy Technician Program completion required upon hire.
Working Environment

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
