Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a company-owned vehicle in accordance with state laws and company policies and procedures.
- Deliver and pick up mail and supplies at medical offices.
- Pick up specimens and store them in the appropriate ambient temperature for transport to the lab.
- Ensure timely delivery of specimens to the lab.
- Be flexible to scheduling needs of the company.
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Proven clean motor vehicle record.
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge.
