About the Role:

GA Foods Inc. is seeking a skilled Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to our clients in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ready-made, hot, and/or frozen/shelf-stable meals to senior citizens and other at-risk populations.
  • Safe transportation of food items and supplies to customer homes.
  • Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions.
  • Participate in all required company training.

Requirements:

  • Prior three (3) years route delivery experience preferred.
  • Good Communication and Customer Service Skills.
  • Familiar with GPS and Tablet Technologies.
  • General Office Equipment.
  • Able to meet employer's attendance standard.
  • Able to follow work rules and policies and procedures.
  • Current ServSafe Food Safety Certification.
  • Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check (required).
  • Must be able MVR Requirements.

Physical Demands:

  • Under 1/3 Standing time
  • Walk, Climb or balance
  • Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
  • Taste or smell
  • 1/3 to 2/3 Use hands to finger/handle/feel, Reach with hands and arms
