We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician to join our team at Gándara Mental Health Center. As a Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to families in need, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive services to DCF-involved families, including home visitations, wraparound services, and crisis/emergency support.
- Work collaboratively with parents/caregivers to achieve treatment plan goals, including improving parenting skills and reducing behaviors that adversely affect the child's safety.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each family.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including DCF social workers, school staff, and law enforcement, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided, including progress notes and collateral contact notes.
- Master's degree in a human service field, such as counseling, family therapy, social work, or psychology.
- Training in family therapy and experience working with youth and families.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and community agencies, including schools, DYS, and juvenile court.
- Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English required; Portuguese and Cape Verdean a plus.
