The Nurse Extern PRN will operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) and support the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the clinical team to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Collecting and documenting patient information throughout their care journey.
- Assisting with patient mobility and transfers to ensure comfort and safety.
- Communicating complex medical information in an understandable manner to patients and their families.
- Providing education on health management and lifestyle modifications for discharge planning.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and in good academic standing.
- Ability to create and implement a personal career development plan.
- Completion of at least one year of nursing school is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
