About the RoleThis Senior Caregiver position is available at our long-term care facility in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual who can deliver age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of our residents. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to work effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Provide assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.

Requirements- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
