  • The Interventional Radiology Technician is responsible for executing radiological and interventional radiology procedures under the guidance of a physician or independently, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice in the field. This role prioritizes patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort while utilizing established anatomical knowledge to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Qualifications
  • Educational Background:
  • Mandatory: Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiological Technology program. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Radiology.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Mandatory: At least one year of focused experience in Diagnostic Radiology. Preferred: 1-2 years of dedicated experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software applications.
  • Exceptional time management, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and planning abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Licensure and Certification:
  • Mandatory: R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification.
  • Mandatory: R.T. (R) (CI), (VI), or (CV) certification to be obtained within one year of employment.
  • Mandatory: BLS certification to be acquired within 90 days of employment.
