Survey Technician

Job Description:

The Survey Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of surveying tasks, including leveling, traversing, triangulation, trilateration, public land surveys, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, and photo control surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Care, cleaning, and use of surveying tools and equipment, including field radios.
  • Handling daily operations, checking, and basic field adjustments on transits, total stations, total electronic stations, data collectors, levels, compasses, tribrach's, and tripods.
  • Coordination of fieldwork for various standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief.
  • Maintenance of neat and orderly field notes for standard surveying operations.

Requirements:

  • Surveying knowledge.
  • Basic field adjustments.
  • Operation of surveying tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of traffic control and safety procedures.

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in a dynamic and growing company with a team of 40 people.

The company offers a flexible M-F schedule from 8:30am-5:00pm and provides a company car or mileage reimbursement.
