Human Resources Specialist

About the Position

Kenco Logistics Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our day-to-day operations. This role will be responsible for providing guidance on employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation, and training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and coaching to employees and management on employee relation matters and company policies.
• Recommend and administer corrective action plans, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Administer company policies, programs, and benefits, and act as a liaison with corporate to facilitate change management.
• Liaise with employee programs and benefits, including health, 401(k), performance management, incentives, and open enrollment.
• Process new hire and termination paperwork, ensuring employee data is current and accurate within our system of record.
• Maintain proper employee files in accordance with policy and law.
• Participate in the maintenance, development, and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Perform recruiting duties for non-exempt positions, including job advertisement creation, interviewing, and selection.
• Complete onboarding functions for new employees, including system onboarding, orientation, and necessary coordination of new employee training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources with progressive duties around employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation, and/or training required.
• Prior experience in warehousing, third-party logistics, and/or distribution centers preferred.
• Experience in a leadership role and/or managing others desired.
