About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Golden State Foods. As a key member of our inventory control staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are accurately counted, recorded, and stored in our warehouse.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will work closely with our warehouse supervisor to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This includes operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, reading labels and associated documents, and counting and calculating quantities of product to verify accuracy of shipment.

You will also be responsible for visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product. Additionally, you will use brooms, mops, and other cleaning materials to clean your work area and complete any other functions assigned by management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Counting, recording, and storing products in our warehouse
  • Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in an accident-free manner
  • Reading labels and associated documents, counting and calculating quantities of product to verify accuracy of shipment
  • Visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product
