Job Summary:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner III plays a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients requiring advanced respiratory therapy. This position requires a high degree of clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care services through patient assessment, planning, intervention, education, and evaluation
• Perform various respiratory care procedures, including oxygen and aerosolized medication delivery, ventilator care, bronchial hygiene therapy, diagnostic services, and patient and staff education
• Monitor patient response to therapies and make recommendations for changes or modifications as needed

Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Care
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Two years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or five years CRT experience
• Demonstrated clinical competency in at least two of the following environments: Nursery/NICU, PICU, ICU/CCU, ED, and general care areas
