Freese and Nichols is on the lookout for a Hydraulic Modeling Project Lead specializing in Water/Wastewater in the region. In this role, you will oversee and direct technical initiatives, formulate project scopes and fees, and assist in business development efforts, including the creation of proposals for water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and master planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage various project teams focused on municipal water and wastewater evaluations, including master plans, hydraulic modeling for water distribution and sewer systems, water quality assessments, and asset management strategies.
  • Provide expert technical advice and direction to project teams.
  • Collaborate with utility providers to address intricate challenges and devise capital improvement strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with the capability to obtain licensure in the relevant states within a specified timeframe.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software, including Innovyze and Bentley products.
  • Experience with GIS tools in the context of water and wastewater planning.
  • Background in client engagement, marketing, and proposal writing.
  • Strong communication skills, both in technical writing and verbal interactions.
