Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analytical libraries utilized for pricing and risk management.
  • Construct, implement, and maintain quantitative models for trading operations, employing a broad array of mathematical and computational techniques, including hardware acceleration, advanced calculus, C++, C#, .NET, Java, object-oriented software design, Python, kdb, Structured Query Language (SQL), and principles of mathematical finance, programming, and statistics.
  • Create pricing models utilizing numerical methods for valuation, such as Monte Carlo simulations and partial differential equation solvers.
  • Engage in close collaboration with Traders, Structurers, and technology experts.
  • Work in partnership with control functions, including Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance, to ensure robust governance and control frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of responsible finance, ethical governance, and expense management.
  • Evaluate the risk/reward profile of transactions when making business decisions, ensuring that all team members recognize the importance of maintaining the firm's reputation.
  • Understand and adhere to the company's Code of Conduct and governance frameworks, ensuring all team members are aligned with these principles.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures relevant to the role, which will be communicated accordingly.
  • Secure and maintain all necessary registrations and licenses pertinent to the position within the designated timeframe.
  • Assess risks associated with business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to the firm's reputation and safeguarding the organization, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in a relevant quantitative modeling or analytics position, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Proficient technical and programming skills, including C# .NET, SQL, and C++. Familiarity with market data, statistical analysis, and probability-based evaluations of complex financial instruments.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of investment products and quantitative methodologies.
  • Exhibit clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
