Senior Roadway Project Engineer/Practice Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Roadway Project Engineer/Practice Lead to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This position will lead our roadway design group and work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop roadway design services and coordinate all design discipline teams in development of construction contract plans and documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design teams and manage projects commensurate to experience
  • Develop project scopes and manhour and fee estimates
  • Assure highest quality and deliverable expectations are maintained
  • Mentor and train younger staff
  • Manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, and clients
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering - Construction
  • 20+ years of experience in roadway engineering discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in North Carolina
  • Experience with NCDOT Design-Did-Build, Design-Build and/or CMGC projects
  • Experience with design software tools including MicroStation, In-Roads and GEOPAK
