Are you passionate about helping customers find what they need? As a sales associate in our Walmart stores, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in someone's day. With a wide range of departments to choose from, including Apparel, Entertainment, Toys, Sporting Goods, and more, you will be able to explore various interests and skills.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your aisles are always neat and clean, working with multiple supervisors and fellow associates, stocking shelves, and answering customer questions. Your ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations will be essential in this role.

The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. We also offer Better U, a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities, which includes programs ranging from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums paid in specific circumstances. With multiple premiums applicable if certain criteria are met, you will have opportunities to earn extra income based on your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer orders, locate and select merchandise on the salesfloor
  • Ensure customer orders are filled accurately
  • Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
  • Dispense customer orders quickly and accurately in varying weather conditions
