Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical travel program.

Job Description & Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, with estimated earnings ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location. In addition to a tax-free stipend, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term disability, 401(k), and an aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Administer contrast media and medications as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements & Qualifications
  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
