Position Overview:

This role may involve managing several projects concurrently, defining project goals and strategies, and establishing performance standards.

Experience with projects involving adaptive reuse, hospitality, or multi-family developments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in software applications such as MS Office, Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Timberline, and/or On Screen Take-Off
  • In-depth understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards
  • Ability to inspire, lead, and enhance team dynamics
  • Strong time management skills and sound decision-making capabilities
  • Focused on quality assurance and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Manage client relationships effectively
  • Play a pivotal role in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate the efforts of all stakeholders involved in the project, including architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
  • Regularly monitor construction progress and conduct status meetings with subcontractors
  • Adhere strictly to budgetary constraints, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of project documentation
  • Develop effective communication strategies to resolve conflicts among project participants
  • Responsible for project scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, monthly billing, and WIP schedules
  • Oversee project accounting tasks, including budget management and risk mitigation
  • Ensure construction activities align with the established timeline
  • Formulate project work plans and adjust as necessary
  • Identify potential areas of dispute and claims in project design and construction

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of MEP systems
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Citrix
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to strict timelines
  • Willingness to travel frequently to various construction sites
  • Strong emphasis on quality and detail-oriented work

Physical Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation for project-related travel
  • Capability to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme weather
  • Ability to access all areas of the job site, including elevated and confined spaces
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
