Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol client site premises to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Report irregularities and suspicious behavior to management.
- Detain and escort individuals who pose a threat to security.
- Perform routine security checks and inspections to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on security best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BSIS Guard Card required.
- Relevant security officer experience and skills.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- No restrictions on climbing and descending stairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
