Caregiver Nurse with Medication Management Expertise

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services for our residents. We are seeking a skilled LPN/LVN Medication Care Manager to join our team in this critical role.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As an LPN/LVN Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring the highest level of quality care and service delivery.
Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, using the Six Rights of Medication Pass to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Documentation: Accurately document medication administration, including times, doses, and any adverse reactions.
- Risk Management: Identify and report any potential risks or hazards related to medication administration, such as allergies or drug interactions.
- Resident Care: Provide excellent resident care, adhering to Sunrise's Principles of Service and Mission Statement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Licensure: Current LPN/LVN licensure in your state/province.
- Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification, as well as any other certifications required by Sunrise or state/provincial regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
