Job Summary

Vestis is seeking a skilled Iron Operator to join our team in Bismarck, ND. As an Iron Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling merchandise in and out of our industrial laundry facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stage and feed merchandise on ironers to reduce wrinkling and tangling
  • Receive and fold merchandise from ironers
  • Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards
  • Accurately verify merchandise quantity and bundles
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
  • Working knowledge of basic math skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule
Working Environment

Work is performed in a warehouse setting and may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, and noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position requires repetitive motions, bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, and lifting. The ability to push carts weighing approximately 300 lbs is also required.

A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
