Cardiac Care Unit Overview: This unit provides care for adult patients undergoing pre- and post-operative management for cardiac surgeries. The 26-bed unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring to ensure continuous patient oversight.
Nurses in the Cardiac Care Unit support patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, collaborating to implement tailored care strategies.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland or eligibility through Compact state agreements; BSN required
- Completion of all mandatory training and educational courses
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience with robust clinical competencies
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Engagement in ongoing education and professional organization membership
- Recent clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting
