Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the University Co-op. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service to internal and external customers
  • Stock the selling floor with product in a timely manner, adhering to established merchandising standards
  • Recover the selling floor during each shift and assist in other areas of the store as required
  • Protect company assets by following inventory control and loss prevention standards
  • Operate cash registers and perform other operational duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with some retail experience and proficiency in Point of Sale/Cash Register systems. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The Sales Associate will work primarily indoors, with a variable schedule that may include early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands of this position require near and far visual acuity, constant use of hands, fingers, and hand/wrist/elbow motion, as well as continuous sitting, standing, walking, and using stairs.
