Freight Forwarding Sales Professional

Orient Express Container (OEC) Group is a leading freight forwarder in the transportation industry, providing services to over 50,000 customers through a global network of offices. We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarding Sales Professional to join our team and execute full sales lifecycle processes from pre-work to informative meetings to identify the needs of prospective clients and perform as a trusted advisor for their forwarding needs.
Key Responsibilities- Seek out new clients and establish a book of business through prospecting and networking.
- Present OEC Group's service offers, including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
- Meet monthly revenue quotas given by Sales management.
- Collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local markets.
- Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
- Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in a freight forwarding role is required.
- Previous experience directly selling ocean and/or air services is preferred.
- Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, team player, problem solver.
- High emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Professional email and phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Monthly car allowance.
