Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Talent4Health is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, while also providing the chance to train and mentor junior staff members.
Estimated Salary$110,000 per year, based on national averages for nuclear medicine technologists in the United States.
Job DescriptionAs a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Talent4Health, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging. You will also be required to perform pharmaceutical and instrument quality control, maintain records for state and federal agencies, and serve as a resource person for staff, physicians, and other personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging
- Conduct pharmaceutical and instrument quality control
- Maintain records for state and federal agencies
- Serve as a resource person for staff, physicians, and other personnel
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or Equivalent, a degree from an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program, and 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine. You should also have a strong background in supervising others and be certified by the NMTCB or RT(R)(N).
