Snowmaker Job Description

At Stratton Mountain Resort, we're seeking a skilled Snowmaker to join our team. As a Snowmaker, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional snowmaking experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-season preparation, including brush cutting, snow gun and pipeline installation, and snow gun setup
  • Safely and efficiently operate snowmaking equipment to produce high-quality snow
  • Complete maintenance on snowmaking equipment
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Work with minimal supervision and assist other departments as needed
  • Follow all company safety policies
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, and ice
  • Valid driver's license with a record that meets Stratton's driver policy
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour and/or overnight shifts
  • Experience operating snowmobiles is a plus
