Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Critical Care Specialist

Job Summary:

As an Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Critical Care Specialist at LifeBridge Health, you will play a critical role in managing cardiovascular critically ill patients immediately post-procedure and/or requiring intensive care services in collaboration with Cardiologists and Attending Physicians. Your expertise will ensure continuity of care management until discharge, supporting patient care for technical procedures, and collaborating with all members of the healthcare team to develop or modify plans for optimal, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cardiovascular critically ill patients post-procedure and/or requiring intensive care services
  • Collaborate with Cardiologists and Attending Physicians to ensure continuity of care
  • Support patient care for technical procedures
  • Develop or modify plans for optimal, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care
  • Identify discharge planning needs for patients

Requirements:

  • Seasoned professional knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree
  • Knowledge in more than one discipline
  • Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner-acute care trained
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Active NCCPA Certification (PA), Maryland CDS License, and DEA License
  • Active American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certifications
  • Active AANC or AANP Certification (NP)
