Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated bartenders, both full-time and part-time, who are passionate about providing exceptional service. Our ideal candidates will have a background in upscale, high-volume dining environments and a flair for crafting unique cocktail recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage effectively with guests and team members through strong communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrate professional knowledge of classic and innovative cocktails, as well as beer and wine.
- Understand and interpret guest preferences to offer tailored recommendations.
- Maintain accurate accountability of food and beverage sales for each guest.
- Ensure the bar area is well-stocked and inventoried for subsequent shifts.
- Possess a foundational understanding of the culinary offerings.
- Maintain an efficient work pace to ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
- Adhere to food safety standards as outlined by the Delaware Department of Health.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for providing outstanding hospitality.
- Ability to remain emotionally composed under pressure while fostering a warm and respectful environment.
- Positive demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to multitask and follow directions in a fast-paced setting.
- Possession of a Delaware Alcohol Server Training Card is required.
- Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
