About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Presbyterian Homes & Services. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and implement solutions
  • Work with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain life safety systems and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime
  • Complete daily work orders and ensure accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation
