Job SummaryAs a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Redwood Coast Regional Center, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health and psychological services to our clients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Intake and Eligibility: Conduct thorough file reviews, participate in intake staff meetings, and make recommendations regarding client eligibility for services.
- Mental Health Services: Coordinate care with county mental health agencies, monitor the provision of psychotherapeutic services, and ensure compliance with Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
- Psychological Services: Administer psychological assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and consult with case management staff on client-related issues.
- Training and Consultation: Conduct training activities for Agency personnel and vendors, providing expertise in psychological services and best practices.
We seek a highly qualified individual with:
- A Doctorate in clinical, developmental, educational, or pediatric psychology.
- Two years of experience working with special populations.
- A valid psychologist license issued by the California State Board of Psychology or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience administering psychological evaluations and competency assessments is highly preferred.
