Job Title: Mathematics Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Lecturer to join our team at Kennesaw State University. As a Mathematics Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses to undergraduate students, developing and implementing curriculum, and contributing to the growth and development of the Department of Mathematics.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach mathematics courses to undergraduate students, including general education courses and more advanced mathematics courses.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to ensure that students receive a high-quality education in mathematics.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Department of Mathematics, including participating in departmental meetings and committees.
  • Engage in service to the university and the department, including advising students and participating in departmental events.
Requirements:
  • An earned Doctorate or Master's degree in mathematics from an accredited university is required.
  • Experience teaching mathematics courses at the undergraduate level is preferred.
  • A strong commitment to student success and a willingness to invest in the growth and development of students is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Record of past teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Experience implementing active learning methods that facilitate meaningful engagement with students.
  • Experience teaching courses such as college algebra, precalculus, and calculus.
